Cohort Atlas
A shared map before the numbers argue
Our custom atlas keeps LTV analytics practical: named cohort cuts, clear windows, and a vocabulary growth, product, and finance can reuse.
-
Name the acquisition event
We lock the first-touch or first-paid moment that starts a cohort—install, signup, or first purchase—so later charts do not mix clocks.
-
Choose the value definition
Gross, net of refunds, or contribution after variable costs. The atlas records which definition a brief uses so leadership never compares mismatched LTV.
-
Cut the cohorts that matter
Week of acquisition, channel family, plan type, or activation speed. We prefer few cuts that change decisions over many that decorate slides.
-
Set the observation windows
Day-7, day-30, day-90, and longer horizons are labeled with confidence notes when a cohort is still immature.
-
Carry the map into the brief
Diagnostics, retention maps, and payback briefs all reference the same atlas entries—so the next engagement starts mid-conversation, not from zero.
